I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. I am a graduate of St. Leo’s School, Corona, NY, St. Agnes High School, College Point, NY, Manhattan College, Riverdale, NY (B.S.), and St. John’s University, Jamaica, NY (M.S.). I completed my educational administration coursework at The College of St. Rose. I am permanently certified in New York State as a School Administrator/Supervisor. I have been active in the field of education for the past 32 years. I taught 7th & 8th grade Math, Science & Religion for 8 years at St. Leo School (in Queens, NY). I also taught kindergarten right here at St. Clement’s School for 6 great years! After leaving St. Clement’s, I served as principal of Cohoes Catholic School for 4 years. It was a wonderful experience. I worked with a group of people who were willing to face many challenges and who believed in Catholic education. I learned a great deal and met many great people.
I next became principal of St. Mary’s Academy (in Hoosick Falls, NY) for 2 years. It, too, is a great school full of many wonderful families. It is a small school with a great spirit! However, when the opportunity to return to St. Clement’s School became available, I prayed that the Holy Spirit would somehow lead me home. So, here I am, ready to serve. I will give my all in serving God and my parish and school as “Faith & Family” become my motto and goal. I returned to St. Clement’s School as principal in July 2005.
Here are a few things about me that you may or may not know…
My husband and I enjoy music very much. He plays the guitar, banjo, and mandolin. I play the keyboard. We enjoy taking trips to New Hampshire and Cape Cod. Our son is an aviculturist. He enjoys working with all different kinds of birds. He is a graduate of St. Clement’s School, Saratoga Central Catholic High School and Delaware Valley College where he earned his B.S. in Zoo Science. Our daughter has already met God and is our “angel” in Heaven.
Here are a few more tidbits about me…
