Race for Education

This year's Race for Education is on Thursday, May 27 th . Rain date will be Tuesday, June 1 st . It is the PTO's biggest fundraiser. Last year the race raised over $28,800. Each year the money raised helps our school to continue to provide a quality education and affordable tuition for the students and families at St. Clement's.

The Race of Education kick-off assembly will be held on Wednesday, March 24 th . This is a fun activity for the students and faculty because it is here that the excitement for the Race really begins! Children will bring home information in order to gather pledges from family and friends for each lap they complete during the race. Flat donations are also accepted.

The children “train” for this race during their Physical Education classes.

On the Race day, the children will run/walk for 1 hour around a ¼ mile track. At the end of 1 hour total laps are tallied for each child and their pledges are calculated accordingly. There is an Awards Assembly at the end of the Race for top runners in each grade, and every participant receives a St. Clement's School Race for Education ribbon.

Families are encouraged to come watch, or even run and cheer for their children the day of the Race . It is a great way to exercise, have fun, and raise money for the school all at the same time.
