Technology Program

St. Clement’s School has one of the most extensive technology programs in the Capital District. This program with its vast array of equipment is used by every student from Early Childhood through grade 5.

New for 2015-2016:  Our STEM program has evolved into STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, Mathematics).  It is an exciting time for us as we begin to integrate many fields into an exciting learning experience for our students.  Our new lab will officially open in September 2015 and be ready as a creative learning space for all of our students.

The mission of our technology program is to prepare our students to use technology as a tool for their future, to integrate technology across our curriculum, and to use technology as an effective, engaging teaching tool.

Here students learn how to “keep clean” in a micro-processing plant.

Our technology program consists of:

  • Building wide network of 160 computers
  • SmartBoards in every classroom from Early Childhood to 5th Grade
  • Computer Lab of 24 Desktop PCs
  • Classroom Laptop Lab of 24 Dell Laptops
  • iPads for all 3rd,  4th and 5th grade students, iPads used in K, 1st  and 2nd  grade Learning Centers
  • Classroom MAC Lab of 10 MacBooks
  • Remote Student Response System
  • Robotics Technology
  • Scanners & Digital Cameras
  • Document Cameras
