Pre-Kindergarten
The St. Clement’s Pre-K program is for 4- and 5-year-old
children. The program accepts children who will turn 5 years of
age by March 1st of the school year in which they will be registered.
The
program prepares children for their kindergarten year. Pre-K is
a literature and phonics based program that emphasizes kindergarten
readiness skills. Curriculum integration of mathematics, science,
social studies and religion forms the core program.
We have two Pre-Kindergarten Programs: a full-day program (8am-2pm daily) or a half-day program. The half-day class meets five (5) one-half (1/2) days per week. The morning
session is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The afternoon session is
from 12:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Registration begins in November. Tuition for 2008-09
will be $4,500 (full day) or $2,200 (half-day)..
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
* 5 years of age by March 1 following the September admission
date.
* Proof of immunization must be provided.
* A nonrefundable registration fee of $50 must submitted with the
Registration Form.
THE TEACHER
Mrs. Deana O'Toole, AA (Full day Program)
Mrs. O'Toole came to St. Clement's in September 2000. She previously
taught Pre-Kindergarten for seven years at St. Jude's in Wynanstkill.
She received her AA degree in Applied Science from Hudson Valley
Community College. Mrs. O'Toole has attended a number of seminars and
workshops sponsored by the Albany Diocese.
Mrs. Diane Kircher assists Mrs. O'Toole in our full-day program.
Mrs. Lisa McDade. B.S., M.S. (Half-day Program)
Mrs. Mc Dade comes to us from St. Augustine's School. She has attended Diocesan-sponsored workshops. She will be assisted by Mrs. Elaine Kenny.
