Attendance

Parents should phone the school by 8:15 a.m. when their child is going to be absent. A written excuse must be given to the homeroom teacher upon the child's return to school.

Children are excused for illness or death in the family. A legal excuse cannot be given for travel, suspension, etc. School begins at 7:55 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. A student is considered tardy if he/she enters school after 7:55 a.m. Tardy students must report to the office for a late slip before going to class.
